Course Aim:
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the ACMA's "Lift" Cabling Provider Rule (ICTTC138B). Lift cabling is used between the local distributor (LD) adjacent to the lift machine/motor room and the lift control cubicle and lift cars.
The course applies to customer cabling terminated on distributors (LD). It applies to the installation, maintenance and modification of lift cabling at the levels stated in the range of variables.
 
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the course each delegate will be able to:
-Install/modify cable support, earthing and termination infrastructure
-Install/alter cables and earth wires
-Terminate and test cables and earth wires
-Create/update cable plans and records

General Conditions
  • Cancellation of booking less than 14 days prior to commencement of the course will attract a 50% administration charge.
  • No refunds will be payable after course commencement.
  • Milcom reserves the right to cancel, postpone or vary course dates or venues.
  • Milcom reserves the right to allow delegates a “once only” transfer between courses, venues or dates. Further transfers will incur an administration fee. Contact the office for fee information.
  • Dress code: Courses are conducted in a simulated work environment; therefore students must be attired appropriately. Closed shoes/boots only. No sandals or thongs. Students wearing sandals or thongs will not be allowed into the course.
  • Students arriving late will not be allowed into class.
  • You are not booked into a course until you receive confirmation from Milcom
