Course Aim:
At the completion of this training, participants should be confident in safely performing tasks on the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) using correct tools

Course Objectives:
By the end of the course the student shall be able to:
-Demonstrates that they are competent in the accreditation items.
-Utilise the standardisation of practices and processes for tasks conducted on the Main Distribution Frame (MDF)
-Conduct and responsibilities that are expected from all staff when performing tasks on a Main Distribution Frame (MDF)
-Meet the safety requirements with respect to ladders, soldering and general personal safety whilst working on MDFs
-Insure all Quality controls on MDFs are met
-Jumpering and terminating principles as applied to Telstra Main Distribution Frames (MDF)
-Jumpering ADSL Services at the exchange and a RIM
-Testing ADSL services
-Interpreting the work orders issued by Telstra

General Conditions

Cancellation of booking less than 14 days prior to commencement of the course will attract a 50% administration charge.
No refunds will be payable after course commencement.
Milcom reserves the right to cancel, postpone or vary course dates or venues.
Milcom reserves the right to allow delegates a “once only” transfer between courses, venues or dates. Further transfers will incur an administration fee. Contact the office for fee information.
Dress code: Courses are conducted in a simulated work environment; therefore students must be attired appropriately. Closed shoes/boots only. No sandals or thongs. Students wearing sandals or thongs will not be allowed into the course.
Students arriving late will not be allowed into class.
