Course Aim: To provide the skill and knowledge to install and commission closed circuit TV systems from the cameras to the image processors and recorders
Course Objectives: By the end of the course, you will be able to:
• Outline the installation procedures required to successfully install CCTV cameras.
• Install camera cabling for CCTV, Monitors multiplexors and DVR
• Explain where to locate the various components of the CCTV system
• Test and commission the system .
• Complete all records associated with the installation
• List all the technologies currently used in CCTV systems.
• Demonstrate a methodical approach to fault finding
• List the typical problems associated with the various components of an a complete CCTV Solution.

Dress code: Courses are conducted in a simulated work environment; therefore students must be attired appropriately. Closed shoes/boots only. No sandals or thongs. Students wearing sandals or thongs will not be allowed into the course.
Students arriving late will not be allowed into class.
